The 麻豆国产 Testing & Evaluation Operations Exam Lab features 30 testing stations. TEO staff proctor and administer exams for 麻豆国产 students and also provide proctoring services for community members and students from other colleges and universities. Our trained, professional staff work to ensure your testing experience is smooth, comfortable, and worry-free. A current list of exams offered by 麻豆国产 is provided below.

Math Placement Exam (MPE)

The Math Placement Exam is used to determine math placement course level at 麻豆国产. Students have the option to take 5 assessments within the ALEKS program within the span of one year from initial student account creation.  Referral by an advisor or instructor is required.

麻豆国产 utilizes the ALEKS placement exams through McGraw Hill.

Outside Exam Proctoring

Writing Competency Exam (WCE)

No longer offered. Contact Certifying Officer in your college for options/information. WCE Alternative Exam information is available upon request. This requirement has been replaced by the Electronic Writing Portfolio (EWP).

Exam Rules and Regulations for Examinees

The 麻豆国产 Testing Accommodations Center follows the 麻豆国产 Student Conduct Code.

By taking an exam in the 麻豆国产 Testing Center or through the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations, the student will agree to the following Exam Rules and Regulations:

• Outside aids (electronic devices – but not limited to phones, smartwatches, earbuds, headphones, tablets, laptops, etc.) are prohibited unless medically approved or authorized by the instructor.
  
  
• Unauthorized electronics will be collected by Testing Center staff and returned after the exam.
  
  
• Medical devices must be documented with the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations and noted in the testing file.
  
  
• Personal items must be secured in provided lockers; locks and keys are issued by the Testing Center.
  
  
• Instructor exam specifications (notes, calculators, textbooks, etc.) are strictly enforced.
  
  
• No communication with anyone other than the proctor during the exam. Sharing or discussing exam content with others who have not taken the exam is academic dishonesty and may void the exam grade.
  
  
• Exams must be completed in one sitting unless preauthorized. Unauthorized exits will be reported.
  
  • Restroom breaks (if allowed) do not stop exam time, are limited to 5 minutes, and no items may be accessed or taken. Exceeding the limit will be reported to the instructor and may jeopardize exam validity at the instructor’s discretion.
    
    
• Disruptive, confrontational, unruly, threatening or noncompliant behavior may result in dismissal, test termination, or contact with campus police.
