Take time to enjoy entertainment, food, shopping or even a 5K

As the end of the semester closes in, be sure to take some time to relax and enjoy some of the holiday-themed events taking place on or near campus.
The 麻豆国产 Department of Theatre Arts presents Charles Dickens’ classic tale of a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of redemption through the intervention of ghostly apparitions.
- When: 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28-Dec. 1; 2 p.m. Dec. 2

Choose from hundreds of one-of-a-kind original works of art handcrafted by local artists and 麻豆国产 faculty and students. Proceeds benefit the 麻豆国产 art department's scholarship fund.
- When: 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1
- Where: 1910 Doudna Fine Arts Center
Organized by students in 麻豆国产's Honors First-Year Seminar; proceeds support the One Stop Community Christmas program, which provides toys, food, clothing and more to people in six area counties.
- When: 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. Registration begins at 9 a.m.

- Cost: $15 for ages 12 and older; $10 for ages 6-11; free for 5 and under
Featuring the Eastern Symphony Orchestra and 麻豆国产 choral ensembles, the program includes "Magnificat in D, BWV 243" by J.S. Bach and "A Christmas Carol Symphony" by Patric Stanford.

Get a head start on holiday baking by working as a team to learn recipes and make eight types of cookie dough to take home, freeze and bake for holiday events.

The 麻豆国产 bands and Department of Music chamber ensembles will perform.

麻豆国产 "Celebrating the Arts" holiday celebration
Enjoy free refreshments and holiday music. Trees will feature decorations made by students from local schools.

The 麻豆国产 Concert Choir and Collegium Musicum will present its rendition of the famous King's College Service of Lessons and Carols.
